From April 1, 2024, changes will come into effect for buses that have been driving with highway stickers until now.

They will be obliged to pay a toll proportional to their use, just like trucks with a total weight of more than 3.5 tons. According to this, not only the use of highways and motorways will be charged, but also main roads, for those buses that are suitable for transporting more than 9 passengers.

It is feared that the sudden increase in demand may cause a shortage of stock, which will make it difficult for passenger transport companies to operate.

We would serve this purpose with the solution that we are now offering the on-board device (OBU) for purchase to our existing and future customers, which will make the use of Hungarian roads smooth from April 1, 2024. In the future, this device only needs to be registered online, for which you will find help at www.aplus.hu.

Of course, it will also be possible for bus customers to redeem the connection ticket (of course also in our offices), the disadvantage of which is that you cannot deviate from the planned route. This entails great constraints due to today's constantly changing assignments.
